The interaction between sky, sea and sand is a common theme across her work. Sarah aspires to recreate her internal experiences of places and people through her textile art.

Her work represents an abstraction of real life, infused with her emotions and distractions evoked by the subject. Conjuring emotion through her distinctive use of color, Sarah calls upon a palette that ranges from the deepest jewel tones to the palest translucent overlays.

Sarah builds up graphic elements and organic textures whilst manipulating composition to suggest familiar forms and landscapes.
